I've been thinking a lot about immortality lately, wondering how much of a gift it really is. Of course is an incredible previlege, so incredible that often people doesn't quite realize how beautiful pass flawlessly through the centuries would be. But in a moment of weakness, isn't the thought of Death some sort of wicked consolation? A quick door with an easy get away promise in exchange of your eternal soul? Yes, you had that consolation, but you don't anymore, do you? Lestat gave you his powerful blood, which made you unvencible, unbreakable and eternal. Ah my love, are you happy with your immortality right now? Did you finally accept the fact that your vampire heart will beat as long as this sick humanity exists? That you will drink other's blood until the Armagedon arrives and the prophecies become reality?Don't you feel empty without the subconsious thought of existing a sweet way to go away from this rotting world? Just to think about it give me chills. Living forever, sweet Lord, fascinating and scary. I remembered the Sons of the Millenia, Marius specially. He had lived 2000 years. He's the epiptome of eternety, of flawlessly elegant supervivence. How much has he seen? Practicly the whole Universal history. How much hadn't he suffered? Can you imagine the amount of times that he has been in love? The amount of times that he has cried? The amount of times that he has felt shallow? Aaah, What a wonderful life, Full of Ai to Kanashimi!! *-* Ah please forgive my otaku side (who obviously had to say something in japanese!)
Another thing that has been in my mind is our restless-and endless-persuit of beauty. When we find the perfect epiptome of it we can do nothing but observe and wish we could do something.But at the end this relfexions are foolish, because still the beauty will be the one thing to save our world. And eternety only exists for the fallen angels.
